Frogeye

Our client asked for a very special ‘Froggy’ to blast around the country lanes where he lives in Devon and also compete in classic hill climbs and sprints.

We located the donor car and totally restored it from the ground up. The bodyshell was stripped and seam welded, uprated suspension added along with front discs, a new gearbox, aluminium radiator with electric fan, full new wiring loom, and most importantly lots more power from our own bespoke Eaton M45 supercharger crafted onto our own inlet system, special pistons, vernier duplex chain driven fast road camshaft and stage 3 cylinder head with electronic ignition and all dynamically balanced. We achieved a maximum power but driveable set up tuning on our Oxford based dynamometer cell. The rear deck and seat were also modified to increase the cockpit room for the 6’ 2” driver!
